You can’t deny that the Blackberry Storm is a somewhat striking device. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into its design, which is one of the reasons why it’s become such a success. Its large touch screen display (480×360) nearly covers the entire surface of the phone, while the rest of the surface is covered in high gloss, piano black plastic. Underneath the touch screen are the usual Blackberry keys; phone, menu, back and end/power, this furthers the ease of use of this phone.
The phone is bright and the viewing angles are so good, you could sit and watch movies on it all day. Whilst it can be said that the Storm is RIM’s most consumer-oriented device, it’s still very much a Blackberry at heart. With the Blackberry menu the same as before, navigation is simple.

Blackberry has built itself a reputation as being a secure and reliable solution for the corporate world. It’s practically a mini computer, with its email capabilities and many other features it’s become a phone most businessmen can’t live without. Now with the Storm, Blackberry has become an exciting option for all consumers, not just businesses. The large touchscreen face gives it a sophisticated and neat appearance and makes it easy on the eye. It looks less like a mini computer and more like a phone everyone and anyone can enjoy. It’s packed full of new applications, such as, Facebook, blackjack games and GPS navigation, which makes it a whole lot of fun to use. Applications can also be downloaded via the browser.
